Terms of Service
Effective Date: March 3, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of compliancelettering.ca and the purchase of products from Compliance Lettering Canada. By accessing our website or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By placing an order, creating an account, or using any part of our website, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement. If you are placing an order on behalf of a business or organisation, you represent that you have the authority to bind that entity to these Terms.
2. Products and Services
2.1 Product Descriptions
Compliance Lettering manufactures and sells regulation-compliant vinyl decals, including:
- CVOR lettering (Ontario Commercial Vehicle Operator's Registration)
- USDOT number stickers (United States Department of Transportation)
- Boat registration numbers (Transport Canada compliance)
- Drone registration labels (Canadian Aviation Regulations)
- Aircraft tail number decals
- Snowmobile and ATV registration lettering
- Custom compliance markings for heavy equipment, powersports, and commercial vehicles
We strive to provide accurate product descriptions, dimensions, and regulatory information. However, we do not guarantee that all descriptions are error-free, complete, or current. Product colours may vary slightly from photos due to monitor settings and vinyl batch variations.
2.2 Custom Orders
All decals are custom-made to order based on your specifications (e.g., registration numbers, company names, dimensions, colour choices). Once production begins, orders cannot be modified or cancelled. Please review your order carefully before submission.
2.3 Regulatory Compliance
We design our products to meet the regulatory standards referenced (e.g., Transport Canada, MTO, FMCSA). However:
- Customer responsibility: You are responsible for ensuring the information you provide (registration numbers, dimensions, colours) complies with applicable regulations
- Regulatory changes: Regulations may change without notice. We are not liable for compliance issues arising from outdated or superseded regulations
- Guidance only: Information on our website is for guidance purposes and does not constitute legal or regulatory advice. Consult the relevant authority for official requirements
2.4 Pricing and Availability
Prices are listed in Canadian dollars (CAD) and are subject to change without notice. We reserve the right to modify prices, discontinue products, or limit quantities at our discretion. In the event of a pricing error, we will notify you and offer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel your order for a full refund.
3. Orders and Payment
3.1 Order Acceptance
Your order constitutes an offer to purchase. We reserve the right to accept or decline any order for any reason, including product availability, errors in product or pricing information, or suspected fraudulent activity. Order confirmation does not guarantee acceptance; acceptance occurs when we ship your order.
3.2 Payment Processing
Payment is processed securely through Shopify Payments. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods supported by Shopify. By providing payment information, you represent that:
- You are authorised to use the payment method provided
- The payment information is accurate and current
