Snowmobile Registration Numbers
Ontario MTO Compliant — From $29.99

Every registered snowmobile in Ontario must display its registration number on both sides of the cowling. MTO and OFSC trail wardens check compliance. Our pre-cut vinyl decals are rated for extreme cold (-40°C) and won't crack, peel, or fade through the harshest Ontario winters.

Ontario Snowmobile Requirements

Registration Number

Must be displayed on both sides of the snowmobile cowling. The number must match your MTO registration permit exactly.

OFSC Trail Permit

To ride Ontario's 30,000+ km of groomed trails, you need both MTO registration AND a current OFSC trail permit sticker.

Size & Visibility

Numbers must be clearly visible and in a contrasting colour. We recommend minimum 50mm (2") height for maximum readability at speed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need registration numbers on my snowmobile?

Yes. Under Ontario's Motorized Snow Vehicles Act (R.S.O. 1990), all snowmobiles must be registered with the MTO and display their registration number. Riding without visible registration is a $110+ fine.

Where do snowmobile numbers go?

On both sides of the cowling (front hood). Numbers should be clearly visible from a distance and in a contrasting colour to the cowling.

Will the vinyl survive a Canadian winter?

Absolutely. Our premium cast vinyl is rated for -40°C and tested against snow, ice, salt, and UV exposure. 5+ year outdoor warranty.

How fast do you ship?
