Braille Requirements
Grade 2 (contracted) Braille, dome-shaped dots, 1.5mm diameter, 2.3mm centre-to-centre spacing. Positioned below corresponding text.
Tactile Characters
Raised 0.8mm minimum from surface. Sans-serif font, 16-50mm character height. High contrast (70% minimum) between text and background.
Mounting Height
1200-1500mm from finished floor to centre of sign. Adjacent to latch side of door. Not mounted on the door itself.
